California Housing Authority
California housing authority is a group of housing authorities located in different cities of the state of CA working towards the progress and development of the housing sector here. It has the Los Angeles Housing Authority, San Diego Housing Authority, Orange County Housing Authority, Fresno Housing Authority, Alameda Housing Authority and so on. All these authorities, come together in promoting the welfare of the houses in the state.

In the year 1975, the California housing authority enforced the section 8 program dedicated towards the low and middle level income group people. Its main objective is to provide housing solutions to all the residents in the state. It makes sure that the housing facilities given are decent and safe for people to build houses and stay. The section 8 program has two entities. One is the tenant based and the second is the project based. Both have set minimum income requirements before qualifying for a home loan. Because of the section 8 program there have been 44,692 housing units in California. It also gives out housing authority law within which the government, the home owners and the home sellers have to operate. All the laws are set by the approval of both the parties.
