Maximum Alaska housing rebate amount which is given to households are as follows:

One step rebate: up to $4000
Second step rebate: up to $5500
Third step rebate: up to $7000
Fourth step rebate: up to $8500
Fifth step rebate: up to $10,000


The home owner will be given the exact amount spent on energy improvement. For example if a home owner spends around $3000 for a second rebate option then he/she will be entitled only to $3000 not $5500 as mentioned. But if the homeowner has spent a total amount of $5500 then he/she will be entitled for a complete second step rebate. You also have to renew the same after every 18 months.
