Association of Alaska Housing Authorities

The Association of Alaska Housing Authorities (AAHA) is a non-profit, private corporation, involved in undertaking several housing projects and other allied real estate development projects in Alaska region.

The concerned board of directors comprises of executive directors of fourteen regional housing authorities of Alaska. It also includes the executive director of the Housing Finance Corporation in Alaska. The regional housing authorities in Alaska work towards providing housing solution in almost every part of Alaska. Adding on that, there are several initiatives that the committee undertakes in order to elevate the residential standards of Alaska.

Functions of AAHA

The AAHA is instrumental in initiating various range services and programs, all with the objective of increasing the ratio of the secure, reasonable community and housing development on the state level, as well as nationally. Programs are also undertaken in order maintain and enhance the sewage system as well of the housing communities.
The authority is also associated with the federal and state legislative advocacy and also helps in housing funds and other technical help to the other organizations that are its members, local communities, the government bodies and the general mass.
